Starting from today [Saturday, August 8], revised timings for the ban on movement period in Oman will now come into effect from 9:00 p.m. till 5:00 a.m. daily until August 15.
The move comes after Oman’s Supreme Committee for COVID-19 announced on Wednesday [August 5] that the hours for the ban on movement period — which were previously 7:00 p.m. till 6:00 a.m. — would now be reduced to 9:00 p.m. till 5:00 a.m.
Closures between governorates in the Sultanate were also lifted ahead of schedule yesterday [Friday, August 7].
