Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) will participate as a main sponsor at the 34th COMEX Global Technology Show, held from 8–11 September 2025 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. The company will showcase its digital transformation strategy, highlighting how it leverages data, AI, and automation to modernize the energy sector.
PDO’s initiatives include ERP transformation through SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors, predictive maintenance using IoT and AI, the ADAM generative AI knowledge platform, and Tanseeq, an AI system for optimizing well placement and field development. These efforts align with PDO’s five transformation pillars: ways of working, governance, talent, operational excellence, and technology infrastructure.
At COMEX, PDO will host live demos, interactive sessions, and sign seven MoUs with partners. Eng. Ali Al Lamki, PDO’s Digital & IT Director, stressed that the transformation is about building resilience, unlocking innovation, and creating sustainable value for Oman.
