Oman’s Public Authority for Civil Aviation [PACA] has announced that the potential effects of a tropical depression in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Pakistan, which the authority had issued weather warnings about on Friday [August 7] have now passed.

In a statement issued online this morning [Saturday, August 8], PACA’s Directorate General of Meteorology has indicated that chances of isolated rains will still persist across parts of the Sultanate, along with rough seas with wave heights of up to 2 metres in the Sea of Oman, and heights of up to 4 metres in Arabian Sea waters.
