Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) recorded the first two cases of the new Omicron variant yesterday, from two citizens who returned from travel. Both patients are stable, and they were put under epidemiological surveillance.
The MoH called on people to continue following COVID restrictions, and to get their third, booster shot of the vaccine if they are eligible.
