Oman’s Travel Ban Updated To Include Egypt And Philippines

The Supreme Committee added Egypt and the Philippines to the list of countries that will not be allowed entry to Oman. Anyone who passed through these two countries in the past 14 days will also be barred from entering.

The Supreme committee also decided to extend the travel ban on the previously mentioned list of countries, which include the Republic of Sudan, the Lebanese Republic, the Republic of South Africa, the Federal Republic of Brazil, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Federal Republic of Tanzania, the Republic of Ghana, the Republic of Guinea, the Republic of Sierra Leone, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Bangladesh.

Omani citizens, diplomats, health workers, and their families are exempted from the travel ban, but will be subject to the safety measures adopted upon entering the Sultanate.
