Oman’s Supreme Committee has confirmed this afternoon that Friday prayers and other prayers will be permitted with 50% of mosque capacity. All other other Covid-19 regulations must be followed.
In other decisions announced, an earlier ruling to reduce the work attendance in units of the state’s administrative apparatus and legal public entities by 50% has ended. Following Covid-19 precautionary measures must continue.
International and local conferences, exhibitions and mass events will also be permitted with a 70% of the total capacity of the venue being allowed. Covid-19 precautionary measures must be followed at all times.
