His Excellency Sayyid Humood Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior Affairs and Head of Oman’s Supreme Committee for COVID-19 said today that His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik’s care towards the Committee’s work had a great impact on achieving its goals.
In a statement, he said that the greatest goal of the Committee is to protect individuals and society from COVID-19 and to reduce its negative effects.
He also thanked citizens and residents for abiding by the rules of the recent ban on movement which showed great levels of discipline in the Omani society.
Finally, His Excellency said that the Omani society is now more aware to follow preventive measures which indicate a secured investment to live with this virus.
