Oman’s National Heart Centre converted to COVID-19 treatment facility

The Sultanate’s National Heart Centre at the Royal Hospital will now operate as a centre to treat COVID-19 patients.

As Merge 104.8’s sister station Al Wisal reports, the hospital has issued a statement to media today [Wednesday, June 24] notifying the public of the conversion of the centre to support the healthcare sector in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

In its statement, the Royal Hospital has confirmed that the National Heart Centre’s outpatient clinics and pharmacy will still be functioning as normal.
