Oman’s Foreign Ministry expressed its strong disappointment and regret over the failure of the United Nations Security Council to issue a ceasefire resolution in the Gaza Strip, due to the repeated use of the veto.
The ministry said in a statement, that the Council should not stand in the way of peace and it urged “friendly countries to enact their calling for peace positions and statements into a practical and just humanitarian reality”.
