Oman’s Biggest Multi-star Concert to Start Next Month!

Performers include Bollywood legend Sunidhi Chauhan!

Oman’s biggest multi-star concert will take place from March 2nd until March 11th, with a range of international artists.

The Vodafone Muscat Beats 2023 Music and Cultural Extravaganza was officially launched at a press conference on Sunday, under the patronage of Brigadier Jamal bin Said al Tai, Board Member of Oman Automobile Association and Chairman of the Muscat Beats Organizing Committee.

 

The artists include:

  • Saudi Arabia’s Aedh Yousef on Thursday, March 2nd
  • Indian musical icon Maestro Ilaiyaraaja on Friday, March 3rd
  • The biggest Bangla concert of singers, Ankhi Alamgir, Nancy and Imran Mahmadul as well as a special appearance from Shakib Khan on Saturday, March 4th
  • Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan on Friday, March 10th
  • Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on Saturday, March 11th

 

Over 130 musicians from around the world will also be accompanying the main acts, and there will be side shows and entertainment throughout the 10-day festival.

The Entertainment District is suitable for families, with food trucks, activities and performances available for children and adults, from 4pm to 11pm every day, until the festival is over.

Rajesh Raman, who is part of the Muscat Beats Organizing Committee told Merge 104.8 that this event aims to put Oman on par with other parts of the region, where big events like this are held on a regular.

The festival’s title sponsor is Vodafone, and it is presented by Oman Arab Bank, Syed Fayyaz Group and Al Maha Petroleum. There are a host of other sponsors including, Khimji Ramdas, Samsung, and Mwasalat. Vistara, Al Tasnim. The event also has several media partners including SABCO Media’s Al Wisal FM, Virgin Radio Oman and Merge 104.8.
