Newly-appointed ministers and top officials in Oman have taken the oath of office in front of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik today [Wednesday, August 26] at Bait Al Baraka palace.
As Oman TV reports, among those dignitaries who took the oath were:
— His Highness Sayyid Mansour bin Majid Al Said, Special Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan
— His Excellency Qais bin Muhammad Al-Youssef, Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion
— Her Excellency Laila bint Ahmed Al-Najjar, Minister of Social Development
— His Excellency Dr. Mahad bin Saeed Ba’awin, Minister of Labour
— Her Excellency Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation
— His Excellency Eng. Saeed bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology
— His Excellency Dr. Saeed bin Muhammad Al Saqri, Minister of Economy
His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik also awarded retired minister Yusuf bin Alawi the medal of Royal Praise of the First Class this morning in Bait Al Baraka palace.
