Oman To Host This Year’s T20 World Cup

The cricket T20 World Cup, which is set to start on October 17^th, will be split into two groups and played in both Oman and the UAE.

The tournament was initially set to take place in India, but plans were changed due to the deteriorating COVID-19 situation there.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not sent out an official letter to the ICC regarding the change in venue, it has already planned to go through with the shift.
