The Royal Oman Police (ROP) have seized 38 vehicles intended for smuggling out of the Sultanate.
In a statement issued online, the ROP said that “six defendants entered into fake contracts with citizens to rent their vehicles, and legal procedures against the accused are being completed.”
ROP authorities have further cautioned the public to “be wary of falling victim to fraud, not being drawn into the temptations and fictional benefits offered by fraudsters, and being careful when buying and selling vehicles through websites.”
