Fans of the Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) can catch their latest production of ‘Sounds of Summer Blooms’ online on their YouTube channel tomorrow [Tuesday, June 23].
In a statement issued Sunday, [June 21], the ROHM that it is “pleased to announce a series of free broadcasts on its YouTube channel which can be viewed by audiences anywhere, anytime, at their convenience.”
Scheduled to be made accessible online from Tuesday, the ROHM has said that ‘Sounds of Summer Blooms’ is part of their ongoing collaboration with the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in China, and will be released as a special concert celebrating the 250th anniversary of the birth of Beethoven. The concert was staged as part of their online concert series ‘Sound of Summer Blooms’ and performed by the Orchestra of the National Centre for the Performing Arts, China.
Also made available online yesterday [Sunday, June 21], was ROHM’s ‘The Magic Flute, or Defeating the Monsters’ — an interactive opera for children performed by the Teatro Sociale di Como As. Li. Co., and featuring music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
