Oman reopens barbershops, gyms & all restaurants in 6th batch of commercial activities

Oman’s Supreme Committee for COVID-19 has announced the sixth batch of commercial activities allowed to re-open in the country from Wednesday, August 26 in adherence to COVID-19 health and safety precautions.

They are as follows:

— Arabic camel races
— Meeting/conference rooms in hotels
— All public restaurants and coffee-shops — including international and tourist restaurants. All food can be served, but shisha will be prohibited.
— Gyms and fitness centres
— Men’s barbershops and personal care shops
— Female beauty shops and hair salons.
— Laser cosmetology beauty shops.
— Water and jet-ski beach activities.
— Shops that sell or rent wedding supplies/equipment
— Traditional medicine clinics
