Oman’s Raz Al Jinz Turtle Reserve is once again welcoming visitors as it opens its doors to the public amid COVID-19 precautionary measures.
A statement issued online by Omran Group today [Monday, June 29] said that visitors to the reserve can enjoy watching the turtles, with management and staff taking full preventive steps to ensure the safety of all.
Located in South Ash Sharqiyah Governorate, the Raz Al Jinz Turtle Reserve is one of the Sultanate’s most important focal points for eco-tourism, being a vital nesting ground habitat for the green sea turtle — a critically endangered species.
