The statement reads, that: “Full-time employers registered with the Public Authority for Social Insurance (PACI), and who are registered as SMEs, are permitted to employ expat workers for facilities that specialize in cleaning and cleanliness work, with the exception of those establishments operating in the implementation of government projects and facilities and, also, those establishments that employ more than 100 workers.”

The MoM also clarified that owners of businesses should adhere to percentages for Omanization among their workforce, and should not have any record of labour violations against the company or facility.
