Oman declares three days of national mourning after death of Kuwait’s Emir

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has declared a three-day period of national mourning over the death of Kuwait’s ruler Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber al-Sabah who passed away today (Tuesday).

Work will be stopped in all public and private sector institutions starting from Wednesday, 30th of September and will resume on Sunday, October 4 while flags will be flown at half mast for three days.
