Oman debunks rumour on planning to secure COVID-19 vaccine from Russia

Official sources in Oman have denied what was released on a local English media platform about H.E. Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Minister of Health, who was alleged to have said that Oman will plan to secure a COVID-19 vaccine from Russia.

Speaking to Merge 104.8’s sister station Al Wisal, the official source said that this statement is false.

Earlier today [Monday, August 11], Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that his country has developed the world’s first COVID-19 vaccine which received regulatory approval .
