Oman charitable organization Dar Al Atta’a has announced that it has raised a total of OMR 71,123 thus far in aid for Lebanon after an explosion at the port of Beirut on August 4 caused widespread destruction and damage, killing close to 157 people and injuring more than 5,000 others.
As donations pour in to help Lebanese citizens and residents in the aftermath of the devastation, Dar Al Atta’a has provided members of the public in Oman wishing to contribute to the cause with a Bank Muscat account number where they can make their donations.
On Friday [August 7], the Omani government sent a first shipment of medical supplies and other necessities to support relief efforts in Beirut.
