Oman: Commercial activities in Ruwi Souq to be permitted on weekends, says Municipality

Muscat Municipality has stated that commercial activities in Ruwi Souq will be permitted to operate on the weekends.

In a statement issued online, the Municipality indicated that businesses will be allowed to operate between the hours of 7:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. on weekends, provided they follow all preventive measures and meet health requirements to curb the community spread of coronavirus.

The Municipality said that the decision was made in coordination with Oman’s Supreme Committee for COVID-19.
