The official working hours for employees during the holy month of Ramadan have been announced.
Workers in the public sector will have flexible hours, and the head of departments will determine the hours of attendance based on the nature of the work.
The shift options are from 7 am to 12 pm, 8 am to 1 pm, 9 am to 2 pm, and 10 am to 3 pm.
Heads of department may also implement remote work for employees whose nature of work allows them to opt for this option, but the number of employees in the workplace should not go below 50% of the total number of employees per department.
As for private sector employees who are Muslim, the maximum working hours should be six hours per day or 30 hours per week.
