New ministers appointed in Oman in new Royal Decrees

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued 28 Royal Decrees on Tuesday [August 18]. Among them are:

1. The Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs will now fall under the new designation of Minister of Foreign Affairs.

2. The Minister Responsible for Finance Affairs will now fall under the new designation of Minister of Finance.

3. His Highness Sayyid Dhi Yazan bin Haitham bin Tarik has been appointed as the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.

4. His Highness Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi has been appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs.

5. His Excellency Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi has been appointed Minister of Finance.

6. His Excellency Qais Al Yusuf has been appointed Minister of Commerce, Industry and Innovation

7. Her Excellency Dr. Rahma Al Mahrouqi has been appointed Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

8. His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harrasi has been appointed Minister of Information.

9. His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al-Sunaidi has been appointed Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones.

10. His Excellency Dr. Khalfan bin Said Al Shuaili has been appointed Minister of Housing and Urban Planning.

11. His Excellency Salim bin Mohammed Al Magrouqi has been appointed Minister of Heritage and Tourism.

12. His Excellency Dr. Muhad bin Said Bauwain has been appointed Minister of Labour.

13. Her Excellency Layla Al Najjar has been appointed Minister of Social Development.

14. His Excellency Engineer Said bin Humood Al Mawali has been appointed Minister of Transport, Telecommunications and Information Technology.
