The Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik al Said, issued a ministerial decision to form a committee for high performance sports under his own chairmanship, in order to take care of elite athletes in Oman.
This decision is in line with the objectives and goals of Oman Vision 2040, to place the sultanate in the ranks of developed countries in the field of sports.
