The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority for Public Services Regulation, Engineer Salem bin Nasser bin Saeed al Aufi, issued a decision 2022/25 regarding the water and sanitation sector and the regulation of potable water.
As per the newly issued decision, an amount of OMR 7.5 each will be charged to cut the water connection and restore the same service. Prior to this decision, OMR 30 was charged separately for each service.
