New Batch Of Oxford-AstraZeneca Vaccine Arrives In Sultanate

The Ministry of Health announced that a new batch of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Vaccine arrived in the Sultanate on Saturday.

It added that a total of 139,522 people have been vaccinated in Oman with both Pfizer and AstraZeneca jabs to date and that Oman is contracted to receive one million doses, which should vaccinate 10% of the population.

The Undersecretary for Health Affairs and Member of the Supreme Committee, Dr. Mohammad bin Saif Al Hosani, also added that Oman plans to immunize 30% of the population by the end of June and 70% by the end of 2021.
