The Muttrah Cable Car soft launched this afternoon (November 8th), offering visitors a new way to explore the historic waterfront and surrounding areas .Tickets cost 8.4 OMR for adults and 4.2 OMR for children aged two to 11. VIP tickets are 30 OMR per person. The service will operate from 1pm to 8pm Sunday to Wednesday, and 3pm to 10pm Thursday to Saturday.
The service features 18 cabins, each carrying up to eight passengers and can transport as many as 800 people every hour. The journey includes three stations, starting at the Port Station, conveniently located near Muttrah Souq, the fish market and the cruise terminal.
