The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health said that seven cases of dengue fever were registered in Wilayat Baushar in Muscat. He said that the disease is not transmissible from one person to another, adding that it is only transmitted to humans through the bite of a specific mosquito.
Muscat Municipality has been monitoring mosquito breeding places, to ensure that the mosquito population is controlled, and avoid unwanted diseased.
