The Ministry of Health denied social media rumors that said that COVID-19 vaccinations in Oman were now available for everyone, reaffirming that only target groups can get vaccinated for now.
In a statement, the ministry said “MoH would like to deny what has been circulated via the social media channels that the MoH will vaccinate all community groups. MoH clarifies that the vaccination is limited to the target groups only, which have been announced in advance.”
The ministry reminded people to look to official sources, like the ministry’s social media accounts or the newly-activated vaccination helpline, for information like this.
