Oman’s Ministry of Labour (MoL) issued a statement, announcing the availability of 540 new job opportunities across a number of private sector institutions, for local job-seekers.
150 of the available positions are for bachelor’s degree holders, 96 for holders of post-secondary diplomas, and 294 for those who have general education diplomas.
According to the ministry, in 2021, the number of job seeker went up from 65,000 to 90,000, as more fresh graduates entered the market. Data from the ministry also showed that around 40,000 Omanis were employed last year alone.
