There will be no more medical examination fees at private health institutions for foreigners who are trying to obtain or renew their residency.
The Ministry of Health (MoH) announced that the new process, will be that expats submit a visa medical examination request through Sanad offices for a fee of 30 OMR, then they will proceed to conduct the tests in an authorized private center, without paying any fees.
This comes as part of efforts to simplify procedures and reduce costs for expatriates trying to obtain or renew their residence visas.
