The Dhofar Integrated Services Company (DISC) reported a power outage in Dhofar that was caused by an interruption in the gas supply to the power generation station.
The power cut caused traffic lights in the area to stop working, which resulted in heavy traffic at junctions.
Local residents in Salalah said that the power outage started at around 1 pm and the DISC said that emergency teams are working to restore electricity in the area.
