Cyclone Maha has weakened to a tropical storm and is now approximately 900 kms away from Oman’s coast according to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation.
The latest indications are that Maha will continue to move towards India.
In it’s latest statement the PACA says: “The latest satellite images and centre analysis indicate that Maha has weakened to a Tropical Storm with estimated wind speed ranges between 55 and 60 knots. It will continue moving eastward toward Indian coasts and it is now located 920 km from (Ras Madrakah).”
