Isolated rains of varying intensities and thunderstorms accompanied by active winds and hail are expected over most of the Sultanate’s governorates starting from today.

In a statement issued online, Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said: “The National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre weather analysis indicates that the Sultanate may be affected by a trough of low pressure (Al Khair Trough) starting from Thursday, April 29 to Saturday, May 1, 2021.”

The authority called on citizens and residents to take their precautions during heavy rains, valley runoffs and low horizontal visibility.
