A group of Omani developers created an online face-to-face meeting app that allows up to 50 people to join one call.
Engineer Abdul Aziz Al Rawahi, executive manager of the software IJmeet, said that the new product has been approved by the telecommunication authority in Oman and is hosted by a local company to ensure and protect user safety and privacy.
Speaking to Merge 104.8 sister radio station Al Wisal, Al Rawahi said the app is currently used by more than 3,000 users for different reasons, including work meetings and virtual family gatherings.
He said that nearly 50 meetings are held daily through this app, and it will be used in the near future for online education In schools and universities.
