The Government Communication Center issued a statement online, announcing the official launch of the Ibri Solar Project, which is the country’s largest energy project.
The project was inaugurated with a total investment value of around OMR 155 million, and it was built over an area of 13 million square meters. It is expected to supply electricity to around 50,000 homes, and it will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by around 340,000 tonnes annually.
