HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Sends His Condolences Over Death of HM Queen Elizabeth

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived at Buckingham Palace earlier today, to offer his condolences on the death of Queen Elizabeth, and to congratulate King Charles on his accession to the throne. He was accompanied by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidy.

His Majesty the Sultan also attended the funeral service for the late Queen Elizabeth II, which is being held in Westminster Abbey.

More than 500 heads of state and foreign dignitaries are in attendance, making this one of the largest gatherings of world leaders to take place in decades.

Other leaders attending include US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Japanese Emperor Nuharito. Members of many European royal families, including those from Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Denmark, were also in attendance.
