His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave orders to establish a ministerial committee with the aim of assessing the damage that citizens sustained in their homes and properties due to Cyclone Shaheen, and reducing the impact of the destructive storm on them, as soon as possible.
His Majesty the Sultan also emphasized the importance of expediting the process of rebuilding the damaged infrastructure, in addition to accelerating the return of disrupted services.
The newly-formed committee will be headed by the Minister of Finance, and it will include a number of ministers from relevant authorities.
