HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Issues Royal Decrees Reconstructing Council of Ministers

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued 12 Royal decrees on Thursday, reconstructing the Council of Ministers and appointing some new positions.
The newly-appointed positions include:
- Engineer Salim al Awfi as Minister of Energy and Minerals
- Mohammed al Maamari as Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs
- Hilal bin Ali al Sabti as Minister of Health
Other decrees include:
- Appointing Sheikh Ghosn bin Hilal bin Khalifa al Alawi as Head of the State’s Financial and Administrative Control Authority at the rank of Minister
- Appointing Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan al Busaidi as Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council, with the same rank and financial allocations
- Transferring Talal bin Suleiman bin Habib al Rahbi to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of the same grade and financial allocations
- Regulating the administration of judicial affairs
- Appointing Issa bin Hamad bin Mohammed al Azri as Secretary-General of the Supreme Judicial Court
- Appointing Sayyid Muhammad bin Sultan bin Hamoud al Busaidi as Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council, with the same rank and financial allocations
- Defining the functions of the Ministry of Interior and approving its organizational structure
- Amending some provisions of the Municipal Councils Law
- Transferring the jurisdiction of inventory and valuation of property from the Ministry of Interior to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning
- Issuing the provincial system
- Appointing governors
