His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik held a bilateral meeting with Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan, who is currently in the country on an official three-day visit.
The meeting was held at Al Alam Palace, and the talks mainly revolved around issues of common concern and finding ways to enhance the bilateral ties between the two nations, that would mutually benefit the aspirations of the Omani and Tanzanian peoples.
Earlier in the day, the President also visited the National Museum, where she was briefed on the history and civilization of Oman, and she also visited the Omani Cancer Society’s Dar Al Hanan, where she was briefed on the establishment’s objectives, as well as the facilities and services that it provides to children with cancer.
