His Majesty the Sultan issues two Royal Decrees

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued two Royal Decrees announced today [Monday, June 8], Oman News Agency (ONA) reports.

In a statement issued online, ONA has confirmed that the first Royal Decree appoints Abdul Salam bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Murshidi as Head of the Oman Investment Authority in the rank of Minister.

The second Royal Decree pertains to the ratification of an agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the Slovak Republic “to avoid double taxation and prevent tax evasion in relation to income taxes.”
