His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued a special Royal Pardon to 229 prisoners, including 70 foreigners, on the occasion of the anniversary of the day His Majesty became the Sultan of Oman.
His Majesty the Sultan took the reins of the government on the 11th of January, 2020, following the passing of the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
