His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in Qatar for an official state visit, and the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, was at the forefront to receive and welcome His Majesty the Sultan.
The Royal Air Force plane was escorted by the warplanes of the Qatari Emiri’s Air Force, as it entered Qatar’s airspace, and following a short break in the reception hall, His Majesty the Sultan was escorted by the Qatari Emir to the Emiri Diwan, where an official reception ceremony was held for him.
