Oman’s meteorology department announced that heavy rains and thundershowers accompanied with active winds and hail are likely to continue today over Musandam, Dhofar, Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas, and coastal areas of the Sea of Oman towards the afternoon.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) warned people to take their precautions as there will be reduced visibility, chances of blowing dust due to fresh wind, and rough sea conditions during the thundershowers.
