The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) issued a heavy rain alert for Tuesday and Wednesday, over North and South al Sharqiyah, Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah, and South Al Batinah, adding that it may extend to North Al Batinah, Musandam, Al Dhahirah and Al Buraimi.
The authority added that winds of up to 40 knots are also expected, as well as rough seas with a maximum wave height of 4 meters.
