Live events will be permitted to resume in Dubai from next month, according to a circular issued by Dubai Tourism’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
As UAE news and talk radio station Dubai Eye 103.8 reports, the official directive states that “all local meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) events will be allowed to resume from September 15.”
The circular further clarifies that leisure events will also be allowed to begin again from September 15, while international MICE events will be permitted to resume on October 1.
As per Dubai Eye 103.8, DTCM authorities have reiterated that a ban on social events such as weddings and private parties is still in effect.
All events will be subject to DTCM preventive measures and guidelines for COVID-19.
