The Capital Market Authority issued a statement online, warning citizens and residents that the comprehensive coverage insurance policy does not cover damages resulting from crossing wadis.
It does however, include coverage for damages that are caused by natural disasters, including hail, flash floods, storms, and cyclone storms.
The authority called on all citizens, residents, and owners of properties and shops to excercise precautions during the heavy rains, to ensure the safety of their properties.
