The ROP announced that it is now accepting free visa applications for World Cup fans who would like to enter the Sultanate.
The free visa will only be issued for Hayya Card holders, and it will be valid for a period of 60 days. It can be extended twice through the e-visa website, and it can also be changed to another category while in the country as per the applicable rules.
Hayya Card holders will also be allowed to bring in first-degree relatives to stay in Oman.
Those who wish to apply for the visa can do so online, at evisa.rop.gov.om, and they will need to attach a flight ticket, photograph, passport copy and confirmation of a hotel reservation within the Sultanate.
