Fifth Day in a Row with No COVID-related Deaths Reported

The Sultanate’s Ministry of Health reported zero COVID-related deaths for a fifth consecutive day.

Experts partly attributed the decline in Coronavirus-related deaths to the country’s accelerated mass vaccination campaign. During the peak of the infections, the country was reporting thousands of cases per day, and hundreds of deaths, but today’s MoH report recorded 22 new COVID-19 infections and no deaths.
