According to a royal expert, there is a chance that Duke of Cambridge Prince William, could abdicate the throne before he hits old age. This is something that only a handful of monarchs have done over the centuries as most Kings and Queens in Britain served until they died, rather than retiring at an age where they can no longer carry out their duties.
The weakest Link is set to return to our screens after ten years away, but the serious Anne Robinson will be replaced by comic Romesh Ranganathan. Besides having a new host, the show also changed one other aspect. Instead of the general public, the contestants will be celebrities trying to win money for charity.
Late TV hosts Larry King and Alex Trebek were both honored with posthumous awards at this year’s Daytime Emmys, which their children accepted on their behalf. Larry King hosted the well-known late-night radio show The Larry King Show, and was later granted his own late-night TV Show Larry King Now. He passed away earlier this year, aged 87. Alex Trebek hosted the game show Jeopardy for 37 years and passed away in 2020 at the age of 80.
